Movie Review: The Age of Adaline

Last night, Andrew & I went to see The Age of Adaline. We have literally been trying to find a time to go see this movie for weeks now. Let me just say, it was fabulous. Blake Lively is absolutely timeless. I have always liked her since The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants & of course, Gossip Girl

The Age of Adaline is the story about a girl who was born at the turn of the 20th century & in 1937, was hurt in a car accident & magically never aged again. The movie goes through the story of her life with the heartache of never aging & quite a few solitary years, until she met a man named Ellis Jones. The movie was very well-written & engaging.

Language was pretty minimal & there was some sexual content referenced & implied, but overall it was a pretty well-rounded movie. Look here for a Common Sense review on it & as always, make your best judgment call. I would give The Age of Adaline an "A" on everything. I really enjoyed the movie & would recommend it to anyone (I also think Andrew enjoyed it too)! :)
